Diet drinking: the best and worst drinks
This Dallas Morning News article discusses the best and worst alcoholic beverages to drink while on a diet. Among the best: white wine; light beer; vodka and club soda.
Regular beer is among the worst, with a pint of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale packing a whopping 267 calories. Cosmos and chocolate martinis also have enormous amounts of calories (sorry, ladies).

We came across your most recent post regarding calories in beer. A 16 Ounce pint of our Draft Pale Ale, is which is what you would be served in a Pint at a restaurant or bar, is lower than you stated at less than 157 calories in a 12 oz. serving, or 209 Calories in a full 16 ounce pint, not the 267 Calories you had stated. If you check out the nutritional information on our website http://www.sierranevada.com, you will find the correct caloric content for our beers.
Just thought you might like to have the most accurate information for your readers. If we can help provide any additional information please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to continue this dialogue.
