Heileman’s Old Style: A great value beer drinking choice
A pub owner who is a Chicago Cubs fan turned me on to Old Style, a very popular beer in the Chicagoland area. He sells it for $1 a can during Cubs games, and while I myself am a Cardinals fan, I’m willing to cheer for the Cubbies if if means I get dollar beer.
It’s not bad beer either. When I went shopping for a party I was planning, I nearly picked up a 30-pack of Bud Light for $17.99… until I saw a 30-pack of Old Style sitting next to it for $12.99. Five bucks cheaper, and better beer! Works for me!
