How absinthe became legal

Check out this Wired article for the full story on how absinthe was finally able to be legalized in the United States, after nearly a century of being banned as a dangerous drug.  (By the way, the “15th anniversary” in the article’s title refers to Wired Magazine’s 15th anniversary, not the 15th anniversary of absinthe being legalized - that didn’t happen until earlier this year.)

The article notes that there are currently four legal brands of absinthe on U.S. shelves:  Lucid absinthe (Breaux’s formula), Kuebler absinthe, Green Moon absinthe, and St. George Absinthe Verte.  Mid-South Alcoholic Supply recently added a line of absinthe supplies to help you maximize your absinthe experience.
