Friday, December 12th, 2008Want to serve eggnog at a holiday party, but aren’t quite sure how to make it? Dr. Booze to the rescue. Here’s a Sun Journal article on how to make the “best eggnog.” I suspect it’s referred to as the “best” because it contains sherry as well as the standard ingredient, bourbon.
Here’s an article from the Atlanta Food Examiner with an alternate recipe for eggnog, and also a recipe for chocolate eggnog with Kahlua as an ingredient.
The first recipe recommends a hand mixer to speed things along. You can get one at Mid-South Alcoholic Supply.
